Protocols

We are working together to develop common, best-practice protocols, methods and techniques to sequence SARS-CoV-2 samples

Protocols.io — the canonical source for COG-UK consortium protocols

COG-UK members have worked together to develop common, best-practice protocols, methods and techniques to prepare collect and prepare SARS-CoV-2 virus samples for sequencing, conduct short-read and long-read sequencing at scale with minimal turnaround times, and speed the flow of whole-genome data to open-access databases and online visualisation platforms.

All protocols, standards and techniques will be shared between COG-UK members through the protocols.io online platform. All documentation is disseminated here.
