Professor Dominic Kwiatkowski is the Director of the Centre for Genomic and Global Health at the Nuffield Department of Medicine at the University of Oxford. He holds a joint position as a Medical Research Council Clinical Research Professor at Oxford University, and as a Principal Investigator at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute. Professor Kwiatkowski’s labs at Oxford and Sanger work together as a single group. The overarching goal of their research is to translate advances in genome science into clinical and epidemiological applications that will help to reduce the burden of infectious disease in the developing world.
