Sonia leads the delivery of the end-to-end genomic surveillance activities within the PaM Programme. Spanning across Malaria and COVID-19 operations, she provides strategic and operational leadership, managing external and internal stakeholders in a fast paced and changing environment. She is accountable for generating over 20K high-quality, curated parasite and vector sequences per year and 20K Covid-19 sequences per week.
