As one of the four Public Health Agencies of the UK, Public Health Scotland (PHS) plays a key role in the COG-UK consortium. Whole genome sequencing data generated by the consortium is being shared with PHS for public health and patient benefit, and genomics has been integrated as part of Scotland’s national diagnostic strategy.
