Imperial College London is a core academic partner of the COG-UK consortium. Imperial is leading the G2P-UK National Virology Consortium which is studying how SARS-CoV-2 mutations affect how transmissible the virus is, the severity of COVID-19 it causes, and the effectiveness of vaccines and treatments.
